Pet Massage Therapy
Our Complete Wellness Massage is a gentle, personalized service designed to support your dog’s physical comfort and emotional well-being. Perfect for seniors, anxious pups, or active dogs, each session helps relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Massage therapy is a complementary, non-medical service and does not replace veterinary care. Sessions are always tailored to your dog’s comfort and tolerance level. 👉 For medical or rehabilitative massage, a veterinary referral is required.
All About Mats & Makeovers
We understand that no one wants their dog to come home with a short haircut — and we hear it often: “They look so different” or “too shaved!” But when a dog comes in with severe matting, especially in curly, cottony, or double coats, shaving is not about style — it’s about your dog’s health and comfort.
Brushing out mats that are too tight can be extremely painful, stressful, and even harmful to their skin. In many cases, attempting to demat would take hours and cause far more trauma than a gentle shave-down ever would. That’s why our priority will always be your dog’s well-being — even if it means giving them a fresh start with a shorter cut.
We’re not shaving because we want to — we’re shaving because we have to.
How to Prevent Matting:
-
Brush your dog regularly at home — ideally every day or every other day, especially for long or curly coats.
-
Use the right tools: A slicker brush and metal comb are essential. We’re happy to recommend what’s best for your dog’s coat type.
-
Book regular grooming appointments: Every 4–8 weeks helps prevent tangles from forming in the first place.
-
Keep the coat at a manageable length if brushing isn’t realistic for your lifestyle.
-
With the right routine, you can keep your pup comfortable, mat-free, and looking their best — and we’re always here to help guide you along the way!
